Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at St. Rita's Medical Center to perform ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images for licensed practitioners.

The role involves direct patient care with a focus on compassionate service, and may include learning vascular exams. Candidates should have ARDMS or ARRT registry eligibility, graduate from an ultrasonography program, and ideally possess 1 year of ultrasound experience; EPIC and PACS familiarity is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARDMS or ARRT registry eligible
• ARDMS/ARRT certification/registration required
• Advanced modality registration preferred or must obtain within 2 years
• 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech (preferred)

Aufgaben

• Perform ultrasound procedures and produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during procedures
• Document findings, images, and pertinent information for medical records
• Assist with education/instruction of students and orientation of new staff
