Qualifications

• Performs the technical aspects of Diagnostic Ultrasound to produce quality images.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history and inform consent for procedures.
• Maintains equipment and exam rooms in a neat, safe condition.
• Adheres to PACS/RIS data entry and verification procedures.
• Seeks ARDMS eligibility to obtain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Ultrasound and produces internal images with quality and proficiency.
• Observes patient vital signs and ensures safety during procedures.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; troubleshoots as needed.
• Documents requisitions accurately and inputs data into PACS/RIS.
