Job summary

Mizell Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to provide high quality patient care in Radiology. You will perform a wide variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently and assist physicians as needed, while preparing patients and maintaining equipment.

Radiology team collaboration, after-hours call availability, and reporting duties are part of the role. ARDMS eligibility or certification is preferred; two years of ultrasound experience desired.

Qualifications

• Two years of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS certification or registry eligibility.
• Ability to work with multiple ultrasound models and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and assist physicians in procedures.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms, ensure equipment is clean and ready.
• Assist radiologists with image acquisition and biopsy guidance as needed.
• Schedule procedures and support report and film filing; provide after-hours call as needed.
