Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, verify patient identity, obtain history, and document findings in the EMR. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient comfort, and follow infection control standards in a fast-paced radiology team.

This full-time role offers 7a–7:30p or 3p–11:30p shifts, with a Feb 2027 opening for the Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Midlothian.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and independently.
• Experience with PACS and Radiology software; proficient in documentation.
• Excellent patient communication across ages; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and obtain clinical history before scanning.
• Position patients and optimize images and waveforms for diagnosis.
• Document findings clearly in EMR and PACS systems.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control standards.
