Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform quality ultrasound exams for diagnostic workups. You will identify patients and exams accurately, document results, and support timely operations within the Diagnostic Radiology department.

You will work with RIS/PACS systems, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing training to enhance your expertise and patient care. This position is based in Greenwich, CT, with exposure to a dynamic clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic sonography program.
• ARDMS certification including Abdomen (ABD) is required; RDMS ABD preferred.
• Vascular certification required within 18 months of hire date; OB desirable.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality ultrasound exams to assist in diagnostic work-ups.
• Identifies patients and exams accurately per departmental policy.
• Maintains medical records documentation and daily operations.
• Participates in training and mentoring of staff.
• Follows safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Strives for high patient satisfaction scores per department metrics.
