Great River Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and other studies. You will produce high-quality images for radiologists and physicians, demonstrate anatomy knowledge, and work independently within a team-focused environment.

The role involves patient prep, history gathering, and maintaining thorough records. A college degree in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound is required, with ARDMS preferred and BLS/First

Qualificações

• AA degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound program.
• ARDMS preferred.
• 1-3 years health care experience preferred.
• BLS & First Aid - American Heart Association required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of findings to physician for diagnosis.
• Select images and determine scope of exam based on findings.
• Operate and monitor PACS Imaging System during procedures.
• Adjust equipment settings and patient positioning for optimal images.
• Explain procedures, prep patients, and obtain medical history.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.
• Record accurate patient history and store exam data and reports.
