Job summary

SouthCoast Health seeks a full time Ultrasound Technologist for our Savannah Imaging Center. Performs ultrasound exams under physician supervision and produces records for diagnosis. Day Shift 4/10's with a $2,500 sign-on bonus accompanying modern imaging equipment and a supportive team.

The role requires ARDMS or RVT eligibility, an associate degree, and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, with on-site work in Savannah, GA. Excellent patient interaction and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires ARDMS or RVT registry eligibility and ongoing CE credits.
• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment for ultrasound setup per exam specifications.
• Explain process to patient and assist with positioning.
• Adjust transducer and controls according to organ and depth.
• Enter test data into ultrasound equipment to maintain records.
• Move transducer and monitor ultrasonic patterns on screen.
• Record diagnostic data and images for patient records.
• Perform on-call duties and flexible shifts as needed.
• Organize daily schedule and report to work consistently.
