Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound studies in a patient-focused setting. The role requires operating imaging equipment, obtaining diagnostic images, and communicating findings with the care team.

Training responsibilities may be included as needed. Ideal candidates will have accredited imaging education, RDMS/RVT/ARRT eligibility, and BLS certification within six weeks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent.
• Registration in RDMS or RVT or ARRT is required or eligible.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations in a professional manner.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team during procedures.
• Train students and medical sonographers as needed.
• Assist with accreditation processes and adherence to protocols.
• May include echocardiography based on facility needs.
