Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL, seeks an Ultrasound Tech for diagnostic imaging in a physician-led outpatient setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, high-quality imaging, and patient-centered care, with predictable schedules and growth opportunities.

Typical shifts are day hours with occasional evenings; no overnights. You’ll collaborate with nurses and physicians, ensure timely exams, and contribute to a supportive, community-focused environment across Naperville and Lisle offices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One to three years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Comfortable working between our Naperville and Lisle offices.

Responsibilities

• Sonographic procedures according to department standards in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provides patient education in the form of written material and/or verbal explanation prior to, during and subsequent to the procedure in order to reduce the patient’s anxiety and enhance his/her comfort zone with respect to tolerance of the procedures.
• Produces examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance with department protocols.
• Submits images for physician interpretation.
• Verifies accuracy of: patient demographic information, pertinent clinical diagnosis, and required technical results. Data must be entered accurately and in a timely fashion to provide optimal patient care.
• Verifies all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift.
• Monitors stock supplies in imagining rooms to assure their regular availability by timely reordering, rotation of dated items, and by maintenance of a clean and orderly environment.
• Reports incidences of equipment failure.
