Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist Senior at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with three 12-hour overnight shifts (Thu-Fri-Sat). You will perform 2D ultrasound imaging and provide patient care under Radiologist supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, ARRT/ARDMS certification, and CPR (BLS). Preferred: 2+ years of ultrasound experience and multi-registries certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher with ARRT (S) or ARDMS RDMS certification.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Certified in 3+ registries (Breast/MSK/Ob/RVT/Gyn/Abd).
• Preferred: 2+ years ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce two-dimensional ultrasound images using ultrasound equipment for Radiologists.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Perform a range of ultrasound disciplines and specialized procedures.
• Senior level: reg. in 3+ registries and perform advanced procedures.

Education
