Job summary

Desert Imaging Services in El Paso, TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for outpatient imaging. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensure imaging accuracy, and keep patients comfortable throughout each exam.

The role requires ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, current BLS, and proficiency with sonographic anatomy, imaging protocols, and equipment. Collaboration, patient education, and meticulous record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen OB GYN Vascular etc.) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in sonographic anatomy imaging protocols and machine operation.
• Familiarity with SPECT PET and hybrid imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedicated to providing exceptional patient centered service to all clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure proper imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
• Maintain patient comfort and provide clear instructions throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and staff to support optimal patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.
• Educate and answer patient questions related to ultrasound procedures.
