Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a broad range of ultrasound imaging procedures in hospital and free-standing ER settings. You will interact compassionately with patients and maintain high standards of equipment and workflow while collaborating with hospital staff.

The role requires ARDMS RDMS certification, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of post-graduation ultrasound experience. Strong independence and professionalism are essential in this clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB).
• Valid driver’s license
• BLS/CPR certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans/procedures
• Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily in hospital and free-standing ER environments
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
• Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues
• Use necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality
• Complete additional tasks as needed
