Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers in Texas is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist II to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and support patient care across obstetric, abdominal, vascular, and small parts exams.

The role requires maintaining equipment, following safety and infection control, and collaborating with physicians. ARDMS/ARRT certification is preferred; strong attention to detail and patient comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: ultrasonography or radiologic/vascular tech training or an AS degree.
• Two years of experience in ultrasound preferred but not required.
• Current ARDMS/ARRT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ultrasound techniques and operate equipment.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies and invasive procedures.
• Care for neonate to geriatric patients as required.
• Manage Radiology Computer System for scheduling and tracking.
• Follow safety and infection control policies; maintain sterile practices.
• Participate in orientation and training of staff.
