Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in our outpatient imaging center in El Paso, TX. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and accuracy while working with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, current BLS, and strong knowledge of sonographic anatomy and imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, etc.) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in sonographic anatomy, imaging protocols, and machine operation.
• Familiarity with SPECT, PET, and hybrid imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure proper imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
• Maintain patient comfort and provide clear instructions throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support optimal patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.
• Educate and answer patient questions related to ultrasound procedures.
