New York Imaging (NYI) in Lake Success, NY is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The role performs routine and diagnostic mammography, assists with stereotactic biopsies, and ensures high-quality patient care.

You will train staff, manage patient flow, and uphold radiation safety while maintaining inventory and documenting procedures. We value professionalism, bilingual abilities, and commitment to accurate imaging; compensation is hourly with comprehensive

Qualificações

• Minimum of one year in Mammography.
• ARRT licensed.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Available for daytime weekday hours.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide courteous and professional explanations of procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce accurate, high-quality images.
• Process images and review them for proper identification and quality control.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Orient and train new hires.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Work Schedule: 4/10 Hour shifts. Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri (RDO Wed)
