Job summary

RadNet in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality imaging services and patient care. You will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Applicants must complete an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, pass SPI, hold ARDMS credentials or be Registry Eligible, and have BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the operation of the instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient privacy and PHI; safeguard on-site medications and confidential information.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect patient boundaries.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
