Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Radiology Ultrasound Technician at Temecula Valley Hospital. The role includes performing sonograms, assisting radiologists during biopsies and general/vascular exams, and ensuring proper documentation and charging. ARDMS certification is required and BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as a sonographer at an acute care facility preferred.
• ARDMS certification required.
• RVT certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Perform general & vascular exams (arterial, carotids, etc.).
• Follow physician’s orders.
• Pull related exams for doctor viewing.
• Perform sonography studies in operating room setting.
• Time Out and universal protocols per TJC NPSG standard.
• HIPAA compliance and safety practices as per policy.
