Riverside Health System in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, breast, OB/GYN and other ultrasound exams in an acute care setting. You will respond to patient questions, maintain confidentiality, and pursue ongoing learning to advance your expertise.

You will manage daily operations of the ultrasound lab, schedule patients, maintain equipment, report failures, and ensure QA while upholding high medical ethics and patient care standards.

Qualificações

• Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Licenses/certifications required listed below.
• Call rotation and weekend shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images for diagnosis. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures.
• Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and independently performs ultrasound exams.
• Evaluates images for quality and presents findings to the physician.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and room sterility; performs QC and troubleshooting.
• Monitors inventory and adheres to regulatory standards; reports variances.
