Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, breast, OB/GYN, and other ultrasound exams in a level II trauma acute care setting. You will provide patient education and ensure quality imaging and reporting to physicians.

Required RDMS/ARRT certification and CPR/BLS, with prior ultrasound experience preferred. You will manage equipment, QA, and workflow in the lab to support fast-paced department operations.

Competenze

• RDMS/ARRT certification required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• Ultrasound experience preferred, with ability to handle diverse exams.

Mansioni

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images following protocols.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust settings for optimal results.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Present preliminary findings to physicians and document results.
• Maintain ultrasound lab equipment and perform QA checks.
• Monitor inventory and ensure uninterrupted service; uphold regulatory standards.
