Riverside Health in Gloucester, Virginia is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, breast, OB/GYN, and related ultrasound exams in an acute care setting.

You will educate patients on procedures, schedule exams, and maintain patient confidentiality while ensuring QA and equipment upkeep. Weekend shifts and call rotation are required, with ongoing learning encouraged.

Formación

• RDMS/ARDMS licensure required upon hire.
• ARRT Sonography certification required upon hire.
• CCI RCS or RDCS certifications may be accepted upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Operate ultrasound equipment to form diagnostic images per protocols.
• Educate patients about procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Evaluate image quality and present findings to physician.
• Maintain equipment and perform QA/maintenance tasks.
• Monitor supplies to avoid service interruption.
