The role requires credentialing in ultrasound (RDMS/ARRT) and CPR/BLS, with weekend call rotation. You will educate patients about procedures and ensure QA, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound credentialing required at hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire.
• Experience in ultrasound preferred; training provided as needed.

Responsabilités

• Uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images for diagnosis.
• Produces quality images following established protocols.
• Maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Educates patients/families regarding the procedure to be performed.
• Explains the procedure and independently performs ultrasound exams following protocols.
• Evaluates images for quality and interprets captured images.
• Presents images and preliminary findings to the physician.
• Maintains and sterilizes ultrasound room and equipment.
• Performs equipment quality control measurements and troubleshoots issues.
• Monitors inventory to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Adheres to regulatory and accreditation standards and RHS policies.
• Reports variances and supports quality improvement.
