• Review requisitions for physician notes, clinical information, and/or special instructions.
• Instruct and assist patients in assuming the appropriate physical position for examinations.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and examination rooms in proper working condition; report malfunctions and needed repairs.

Schedule

Required Availability: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM

Candidates must be available to consistently work the 12:00 PM-9:00 PM shift. Please ensure this schedule aligns with your availability before applying.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, receive, and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures. Other modalities may apply if appropriately certified.
• Assess and document patients' conditions to determine proper handling and any special requirements.
• Review requisitions for physician notes, clinical information, and/or special instructions.
• Instruct and assist patients in assuming the appropriate physical position for examinations.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience at all PMI facilities while upholding the company's commitment to patient satisfaction.
• Adhere to procedure protocols established by the Medical Director and/or physician performing the procedure.
• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
• Follow and enforce ultrasound safety procedures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff. Safety procedures for other modalities may apply when appropriately certified.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and examination rooms in proper working condition. Report equipment malfunctions and necessary repairs to management.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

• Must be available to work the 12:00 PM-9:00 PM shift.
• 2-3 years of previous ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS and RVT credentials for ultrasound, or registry eligible.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Ability to read, understand, speak, and follow instructions in English; bilingual skills are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, coworkers, and providers.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, protocols, and techniques.
• Complete competency in standard precautions, aseptic technique, venipuncture, and contrast administration.
