Job summary

Pueblo Medical Imaging in Las Vegas, NV is hiring radiology technologists to perform x-ray and fluoroscopy, with cross-training into MRI and CT as assigned. You will assess patient conditions, ensure accurate positioning, and deliver high-quality imaging while upholding safety and protocol standards.

We value patient-centered care, attention to detail, and teamwork across modalities. ARRT licensing and state CT licensure are required or preferred as noted, with additional training and growth

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of previous radiology and fluoroscopy experience required.
  • ARRT license or ACR accreditation requirements must be met for all modalities performed.
  • Student CT State License is required.
  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and follow English instructions. Bilingual preferred.
  • Display superior interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and peers.
  • Possess a superior knowledge of x-ray procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, accept and prepare the patient for x-ray and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Crosstrain into MRI and/or CT as assigned.
  • Assess and document patient’s condition to determine proper handling and special requirements.
  • Ensure positive experience for the patient while at any PMI facility and uphold company objective for patient satisfaction.
  • Check requisition for physician notes and/or special instructions.
  • Instruct and assist patients in assuming physical position for appropriate test.
  • Provide x-ray and fluoroscopy services in a timely manner while performing high quality procedures.
  • Adhere to procedure protocols as established by the Medical Director.
  • Enforce radiation safety procedures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Maintain x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment/rooms in proper working condition.
  • Report malfunctions and necessary repairs to manager.
  • Keep autoclave in working order and sterilize instruments.
  • Keep all crash carts up to date.
  • Order and keep inventory of all medical supplies.
  • Train and support peers and new team members, sharing knowledge, demonstrating best practices, and ensuring consistency in processes across the department.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

What You’ll Do
