Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and interventional imaging across multiple sites. The role requires careful adherence to department policies and ACR standards, with focus on patient safety and accurate documentation.

The position offers a 0.6 FTE schedule (48 hours per two weeks) with Day/Evening shifts, Monday–Friday, no weekends, and mileage reimbursement. A $7,500 starting bonus is available for eligible external talent.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology with 2 year Ultrasound or ARDMS registrered/registry eligible.
• 3+ years Diagnostic Sonography experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures in accordance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents all aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patient, maintaining safety.
• Verifies images transfer to imaging storage and retrieval system.
• Uses Excellian for documentation and post-procedure records.
