Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in an inpatient setting under the radiologist's direction. You will deliver timely, high-quality services and follow department policies to ensure safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires ARRT registry, a radiologic technology program, and BLS certification. The position is 0.5 FTE with day/evening shifts, occasional weekends, and a starting bonus for external talent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required, must be registered upon hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA/Red Cross or in-house).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging in an inpatient setting under the direction of the radiologist.
• Provides timely and quality services to patients.
• Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment.
• Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions during and after the procedure.
• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents all aspects of the procedure accurately.
• Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy.
