Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures and support imaging patient care.

You will manage RIS data, assist physicians, and contribute to file room duties, clerical tasks, and patient transport as needed. Shift is full time, days, with occasional on-call.

Qualifications

• Educational prerequisites include a technical program or degree and an associate degree.
• Ultrasound specialization training is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care and RIS data management.
• Handles file room, general clerical, physician assistance, and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assists with patient transportation and related duties.

Summary

Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
