Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for night shifts to perform and document ultrasound exams of pelvic, abdominal, and vascular regions. The role supports physicians, ensures high-quality imaging, and may include clerical duties such as filing and communications.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with an associate degree preferred, plus ARDMS Registry eligibility and timely certification in one or more modalities.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited Ultrasound Technology program; associate degree preferred with minimal on-the-job training.
• Licensure/Certification: ARDMS Registered Abd/Pelvis preferred; Registry eligible required; must become ARDMS registered within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Obtains information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, blood flow, masses or development of fetuses for use in diagnosis of disease, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta.
• Ensures ultrasound tests are of high quality and records results.
• Assists physicians in carrying out examinations, consultations, sterile procedures.
• Performs general clerical duties such as report filing and distribution, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, photocopying materials.

Pay Range: $33.10 – $52.95hr

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Position Purpose

Following established policies and procedures, performs and records ultrasound diagnostic tests of patients' pelvic, abdominal and arterial and vascular areas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Work requires the level of knowledge acquired through completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Associate's degree preferred plus three (3) months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.

• Licensure: ARDMS Registered Abd/Pelvis preferred. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.
• Certification: Registry eligible required. ARDMS Registered within one year of hire. Will be required to become registered in one (1) modality within three (3) years of hire. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.
