Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Springfield, MA is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist for night shift. You will perform and record ultrasound diagnostic tests of pelvic, abdominal, arterial and vascular regions, supporting physicians in examinations and maintaining high-quality results.

The role requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program and ARDMS registration or eligibility; compensation includes a pay range of $33.10–$52.95 per hour, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Education: Work requires the level of knowledge acquired through completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Licensure: ARDMS Registered Abd/Pelvis preferred. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.
• Certification: Registry eligible required. ARDMS Registered within one year of hire. Will be required to become registered in one (1) modality within three (3) years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtains information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, blood flow, masses or development of fetuses for use in diagnosis of disease, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta.
• Ensures ultrasound tests are of high quality and records results.
• Assists physicians in carrying out examinations, consultations, sterile procedures.
• Performs general clerical duties such as report filing and distribution, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, photocopying materials.

Pay Range: $33.10 – $52.95hr

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Position Purpose

Following established policies and procedures, performs and records ultrasound diagnostic tests of patients' pelvic, abdominal and arterial and vascular areas.

• Certification: Registry eligible required. ARDMS Registered within one year of hire. Will be required to become registered in one (1) modality within three (3) years of hire. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.
