Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to prepare patients, perform sonographic exams, and ensure high-quality, efficient care. You will work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced hospital environment, observing patient conditions and communicating findings to physicians.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, ARDMS/ARRT registration, and BLS within 30 days of starting. The position is full-time daytime hours at a portsmouth NH site.

Qualifications

• Two to three years’ experience (preferred) as Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
• ARDMS or ARRT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Compile appropriate records to expedite results.
• Analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
• Complete data sheet containing pertinent patient information following exam prior to forwarding to radiologist.
• Take call after regular hours to meet department needs.

Job Summary

As an Ultrasound Technologist you would prepare patients, collect relevant information for completion of procedures, and perform sonographic exams following defined protocols. Throughout the procedure, you would be observant of patients’ conditions, and notify physician of unusual occurrences.
