Job description

Description

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Required Qualifications

  1. Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  2. Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  3. Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
  4. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  5. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  6. Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
  7. Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  2. 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for 612-71875, 612-71877, 612-71878, 612-71882, 612-71883, 612-71884.
