Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform general imaging, including abdominal, small parts, GYN/OB, and pediatric studies. The role supports a collaborative environment focused on safety and patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, ARDMS/ARRT certifications in abdomen/breast/OBGYN, and a current BLS certification. Staffing includes 24/7 coverage with on-site responsibilities in Nampa, Idaho.

Qualifications

• Must have either an associate degree or substantial experience in medical imaging.
• Current ARDMS/ARRT certifications in Abdomen, Breast, or OBGYN required.
• ARRT-S or equivalent ARRT sonography certification.
• Current BLS certification from recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound imaging across abdomen, small parts, GYN, OB including all trimesters and pediatrics.
• Support cross-campus collaboration and maintain safety culture.
• Work a flexible PRN schedule with routine shifts and occasional holiday coverage.

What You Can Expect:

• Flex/PRN to help cover scheduling gaps. There will be a dedicated shift every other week. Guaranteed 8-12 per pay period.
• 2- 12hr Holiday call shifts per year
• General imaging to including abdominal, small parts, GYN, OB ( 1 st ,2 nd ,and 3 rd Trimester), procedures and pediatrics. Exam load varies on any give day. 24hr period is between 25-35 exams.
• Nampa Ultrasound prides themselves on their unique, collaborative relationship between providers and technologists, a high culture of safety in alignment with system goal, and cross-campus collaboration and standardization.
• Staffed 24/7

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

• Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Must have current certification in one of the following areas:
    • Abdomen (RDMS-AB)
    • Breast (RDMS-BR)
    • OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
    • Sonography (ARRT-S) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
