Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking an ultrasound technologist to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist. The role supports Providence’s patient-focused care culture in a team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited ultrasound program credential, an associate degree or higher in diagnostic sonography, and ARDMS or equivalent certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification upon hire or NRT Sonography credential.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound, independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, Or
• National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• 1 year Medical Sonography as a Registered Sonographer or as a registry eligible Sonographer.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
