Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures ordered by physicians and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

You will be responsible for surgery and portable exams, documenting exams in Meditech and verifying images in PACS, and following established quality controls and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (AR DMS registered or acquire within 6 months).
• BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Ensure day-to-day activities deliver quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Document completion of the exam in Meditech; verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper quality controls and HIPAA/HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history and lab values correctly.

• You will be responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.
• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months
• BLS current
