Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures ordered by physicians and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

You will be responsible for surgery and portable exams, documenting exams in Meditech and verifying images in PACS, and following established quality controls and documentation practices.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (AR DMS registered or acquire within 6 months).
BLS current.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
Ensure day-to-day activities deliver quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
Document completion of the exam in Meditech; verify images in PACS.
Follow proper quality controls and HIPAA/HLD related to equipment and accessories.
Document patient history and lab values correctly.
