Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians in a diagnostic environment. You will ensure quality patient care and operate within the imaging department to support patient needs.

The role requires ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, BCLS within 30 days, and a vocational school graduate background. This on-site position offers comprehensive imaging services in Southern Kentucky.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• High school or vocational school graduation.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure day-to-day operations deliver quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.CT Technologist are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served inthe department.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• You will assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teachingthroughout CT procedure.
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
