LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to prepare patients, collect information, and perform sonographic exams following defined protocols. You will monitor patient conditions during procedures and notify the physician of any unusual occurrences and ensure proper documentation.

Responsibilities include compiling records to expedite results, analyzing image quality, and completing data sheets before forwarding to the radiologist.

Formación

• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Certificate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you would prepare patients, collect relevant information for completion of procedures, and perform sonographic exams following defined protocols. Throughout the procedure, you would be observant of patients’ conditions, and notify physician of unusual occurrences.

• Compile appropriate records to expedite results.
• You will analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
• Completes data sheet containing pertinent patient information following exam prior to forwarding to radiologist.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Certificate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
