Job summary

Unio Health Partners is seeking an Ultrasound Technician - Per Diem to perform urological ultrasounds across the Greater LA division. This traveling role will require imaging multiple sites and ensuring quality studies.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of ultrasound experience, be comfortable with various ultrasound machines, and hold ARDMS AB certification. Excellent communication with patients and physicians is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images for abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS exams.
• Evaluate results and ensure adherence to guidelines and protocols.
• Report and summarize technical and clinical findings.
• Prepare patients for procedures and apply gel before imaging.
• Communicate with patients to maintain comfort during exams.

Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform and interpret urological ultrasounds through the Greater LA division's offices. This is a traveling position.

What you will be doing

• Operation of ultrasound equipment to capture optimal images for various urologic ultrasound exams which include abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS ultrasounds.
• Evaluate ultrasound exam results to identify expected and unexpected outcomes given the procedure plan as well as whether appropriate test guidelines and protocols were followed
• Report and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings
• Helping patients prepare for the procedure by explaining the process, helping them to move to the table, and preparing the skin surface by applying gel before using the equipment
• Communicate effectively with the patient and maintain his/her comfort level during the examination

What you will bring to the team
