Job summary

Unio Health Partners is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a per diem, on-site travel role in the Greater LA division. You will perform and interpret urological ultrasounds across multiple sites, ensuring image quality and patient comfort.

The position requires at least 2 years of ultrasound experience, familiarity with various machines, and ARDMS AB certification, with strong clinical communication and independent judgment expected.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images for abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, and TRUS exams.
• Evaluate exam results and ensure adherence to guidelines and protocols.
• Report and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings.
• Assist patients in preparation for procedures and maintain patient comfort.
• Communicate effectively with patients throughout the examination.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform and interpret urological ultrasounds through the Greater LA division's offices. This is a traveling position.

What you will be doing

• Operation of ultrasound equipment to capture optimal images for various urologic ultrasound exams which include abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS ultrasounds.
• Evaluate ultrasound exam results to identify expected and unexpected outcomes given the procedure plan as well as whether appropriate test guidelines and protocols were followed
• Report and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings
• Helping patients prepare for the procedure by explaining the process, helping them to move to the table, and preparing the skin surface by applying gel before using the equipment
• Communicate effectively with the patient and maintain his/her comfort level during the examination

What you will bring to the team

• Must have at least 2 years of Ultrasound experience, urology experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with various ultrasound machines
• ARDMS AB certification is Required.
• Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic sonographic information in each examination performed
• Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the physician
