Job description

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.

+ Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

+ Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment

+ Demonstrates knowledge of Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional

**Qualifications**

+ More than one year experience in Abdomen or OB/GYN

+ Must be current with continuing education units required by the licensing board of the ARDMS

+ Must have a current CPR/BLS and ARDMS certification

+ Must be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy, as well as physiology

+ **Preferred Qualifications** :

+ Prefer venous Doppler, Color Doppler, Neurosonography and Interventional Procedures

+ ARDMS certified in physics and one other area, preferably abdomen or OB/Gyn preferred

+ Active member of a major diagnostic professional society preferred

This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Pay Range**

$65.83 - $78.88 /hour
