Job summary

Carolmilgardbreastcenter in Tacoma, WA is seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to perform diagnostic breast and related ultrasound exams in line with ARDMS standards. You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic information and patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS registry eligibility, BLS certification, and ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• ARDMS registry eligible; Abdomen & OB/GYN preferred.
• Breast, vascular, MSK, NT and pediatrics registries a plus.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for ultrasound with explanation and instructions.
• Review patient history and physician request to determine scanning parameters.
• Perform breast exams and present findings to radiologist.
• Ensure compliant documentation and HIPAA guidelines.
