The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of clinical ultrasound experience (2–4 preferred), ARDMS/ARRT certification eligibility, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clinical ultrasound experience required.
• 2–4 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures proper procedures are ordered prior to imaging.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and according to departmental policies.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and infection control standards during imaging.
• Recognizes pathologies during scanning for radiologist interpretation and documentation.
• Maintains equipment readiness and coordinates inventory of imaging supplies.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with all policies and standards.
