Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Ultrasonographer (Breast Imaging) in Tacoma, WA. The role performs breast ultrasound exams in accordance with ARDMS guidelines, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate imaging for radiologist interpretation.

The candidate should graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program, hold or be eligible for ARDMS, and have BLS certification. The position requires travel to other sites as needed and offers comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program is required.
• ARDMS registry eligible or Abdomen & OB/GYN registries preferred.
• Breast, Vascular, MSK, NT and pediatric registries are a plus.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound exams with clear instructions.
• Obtain relevant patient history and review orders to determine scanning parameters.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform breast examinations with accuracy.
• Present ultrasound findings to Radiologist clearly and professionally.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
