Job summary

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is seeking a US Tech for field work in the Jacksonville area, performing ultrasound at patients’ homes one day per week and handling materials management and scribing. You will also contribute to chart checks and data collection for growth initiatives.

The role requires a valid US Tech Certification and strong patient-care skills, with 1–2 years of relevant medical experience preferred. Part-time, 1099 status, 2 days per week, on-the-road schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong awareness of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment on wound patients during home visits.
• Interpret ultrasound images and document findings.
• Interact with patients and provide procedure preparation.
• Document and report results and maintain charts.
• Order medical supplies and act as scribe for doctors.
• Prepare patients for procedures and perform chart checks.
• Support data collection for hiring-expansion metrics.

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field!

Must be willing to drive within Jacksonville area

US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.

Essential Job Functions

• Operating equipment
• Perform ultrasound on wound patients
• Image interpretation
• Patient interaction
• Documentation and reporting
• Order medical supplies.
• Scribe for respective doctors.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.
• Scribe for skin sweeps.
• Make Initial Assessment calls.
