Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures under supervision. Responsibilities include pelvic, abdominal, small parts, vascular exams, and potentially breast ultrasound and interventional guidance.

Prepares preliminary findings and delivers patient care across all ages. Qualifications include enrollment in an accredited ultrasound program (CAAHEP or CMA in Canada) and at least one year of related student experience; BCLS/BLS

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited ultrasound program (CAAHEP or CMA in Canada)
• Proficiency in performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations
• Commitment to patient care across all ages (neonatal to geriatrics)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound procedures (pelvic, abdominal, small parts, vascular) under supervision
• Prepare preliminary findings and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Contribute to interventional imaging (e.g., biopsies) when applicable
