Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Ultrasound Technician registered with RDMS/RVT to perform ultrasound procedures and assist in radiology services in Houston, TX.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional growth, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff. Shift is 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday with some On-Call coverage. Travel to satellite facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician
• Graduate of a Professional school of Sonography
• 1+ years of experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care while showing compassion and respect.
• Communicates effectively with care providers to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Demonstrates punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Travel to satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Ultrasound sonographer performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in performing Ultrasounds and Radiology procedures with basic departmental functions and goals.
