Job summary

Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform two-dimensional recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes while contributing to performance improvement initiatives. The candidate should graduate from an AMA approved Ultrasound Technology program, be ARDMS-eligible or registered, and hold a current BCLS certification.

Job description

Performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Education

Graduation from an AMA approved school of Ultrasound Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS or Board eligible.

Current BCLS certification.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Specific experience and training in Ultrasound.
