The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for using radioactive isotopes to assist in diagnosis. Performs procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Exercises professional judgement in patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures with A+ care for all patients.
Education: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Experience: Board eligible
License, Certification and or Registrations: Certified by the state of Florida to practice and administer radiation. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BLS certification.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
