Job summary

Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, FL seeks an ultrasound technologist to perform two-dimensional ultrasound examinations of internal organs to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved school of Ultrasound Technology, ARDMS or board eligibility, and current BCLS certification; the technologist will participate in performance improvement activities.

Education:

Graduation from an AMA approved school of Ultrasound Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS or Board eligible.

Current BCLS certification.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Specific experience and training in Ultrasound.
