Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations in the Radiology Department at Community Hospital of Bremen, under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor. You will obtain clinical history, explain procedures to patients, prepare images on PACS and ensure accurate order entry and reporting.

The position requires ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification, completion of an approved ultrasound program, and ongoing compliance with licensing, CPR/BCLS, and department

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved ultrasound program and ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification.
• Must maintain licensure/certification and CPR/BCLS as required.
• Previous staff technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to department protocols.
• Obtain pertinent clinical history and communicate with physicians.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Prepare images on PACS and ensure accurate reporting templates.
• Enter orders correctly and apply charges as appropriate.
