Job summary

You will perform exams, document findings, ensure quality control, mentor colleagues, and stay current with imaging technology and regulatory standards. RDMS/RDCS preferred; RDMS certification desirable; state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in diagnostic medical sonography or related field.
• RDMS or RDCS certification preferred.
• State licensure or certification as required by regulations.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing various ultrasound procedures.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound Examinations and prepare patients for procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images and adjust settings for optimal quality.
• Review images, document findings, and communicate results with radiologists.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control of ultrasound equipment.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout examinations.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with technology and regulations.
